Inaccuracy of Iran’s attacks likely deliberate to avoid wider war

CERL Executive Board member General (ret.) Joseph Votel is quoted in The New York Times discussing Iran’s aerial attack against Israel involving over 300 cruise missiles, drones, and ballistic missiles. That Iran provided early warning of their retaliatory response may be telling, General Votel explains.

General Joseph L. Votel, U.S. Army (Ret.) is the former Commander of the U.S. Central Command. He is a Distinguished Senior Fellow on National Security at the Middle East Institute and a member of the CERL Executive Board. Read his bio here.
