As we enter an era of open military strikes between Iran and Israel, the U.S. may need to revisit its strategy of temporary deployment in the Middle East. Speaking with Phil Stewart and Idrees Ali of Reuters, CERL Executive Board member Joseph Votel says that the U.S. should be considering sustainability in its response approach.
