Claire Finkelstein questions whether PA court is infringing on separation of powers in Krasner trial

Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner is scheduled to appear before the Pennsylvania Senate on January 18, 2023, for an impeachment trial.

CERL Faculty Director Claire Finkelstein spoke with Axios about the questions that remain ahead of these proceedings now that the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania has issued a ruling favoring Krasner.

Claire Finkelstein is Algernon Biddle Professor of Law and Professor of Philosophy at the University of Pennsylvania. She is founder and faculty director of the Center for Ethics and the Rule of Law (CERL), a non-partisan interdisciplinary institute affiliated with the University of Pennsylvania’s Annenberg Public Policy Center (APPC). She is a distinguished research fellow at APPC and a senior fellow at the Foreign Policy Research Institute (FPRI).
