CERL hosts screening of Nova music festival attack documentary

Together with the Herbert D. Katz Center for Advanced Judaic Studies, Penn Hillel, and Penn’s Cinema and Media Studies Department, the Center for Ethics and the Rule of Law hosted on Feb. 22 a screening of Supernova: The Music Festival Massacre, followed by a panel discussion and Q&A with the film’s directors, Yossi Bloch and Duki Dror, and others.

The speakers included globally renowned artist Yossi Bloch, director of Supernova; internationally acclaimed documentary filmmaker Duki Dror, director Supernova; Prof. Peter Decherney, Edmund J. and Louise W. Kahn Endowed Term Chair in the Humanities at the University of Pennsylvania; and Millet Ben Haim, a survivor of the music festival massacre. CERL’s Prof. Claire Finkelstein moderated the conversation.
